Figure 14. Geologic map of the northern caldera margin at Wilson Pass (Goat Peak 7-
' quadrangle). Caldera boundary probably consists of two west-northwest–striking, steeply dipping faults separating Paleozoic rocks north of the northern fault, mesobreccia between the two faults, and Caetano Tuff south of the southern fault (Figs. 4D and 7D). Paleozoic rocks at Peak 7268 may be megabreccia or part of caldera wall. Caetano Tuff overlies the caldera floor consisting of tuff of Cove Mine underlain by basalt lava flows. Miocene sedimentary rocks (Tm) were deposited in the hanging wall of the middle Miocene Redrock Canyon fault (Colgan et al., 2008).
